St John Bosco Catholic Primary School

Year 5 hosted a moving assembly for Black History Month, focusing on the inspirational Rosa Parks 🙌🏾. They re-enacted her brave act of defiance 🚌, showing the importance of standing up for what is right. The children also performed the song Proud 🎤 to symbolise Rosa’s courage and the power of fighting for justice. The assembly recapped other significant figures in Black History, including Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and Mary Seacole ✊🏽, highlighting their contributions to making the world a better place. A powerful reminder of the importance of equality and justice for all! 🌍💪🏾

Thank you to all of our wonderful parents that were able to attend this memorable assembly!
