Today is World Afro Day. It is a global day of change, education and celebration of Afro hair, culture and identity. The day was created with the aim to normalise, empower and appreciate the nature hair of people from black and mixed-race ethnicities and to prevent discrimination based on hair.
Children had access to stories about Afro hair and celebrated this day through the power of storytelling.
