St John Bosco Catholic Primary School

This week, Year 6 hosted a fantastic History Parent Workshop, diving into the story of Captain Edward Smith and the Titanic! 🚢✨

Parents joined their children for an engaging lesson, exploring the life of the Titanic’s captain and the events of that fateful voyage. Together, they examined historical sources, discussed key decisions, and reflected on the impact of this legendary story.

Our parents left some wonderful feedback about their experience in a questionnaire:

🌟 “Thank you for inviting me. I truly enjoy each and every one of these sessions.”

🌟”The lesson was very informative and I enjoyed it thoroughly.”

🌟”A really good parent-pupil work group. Lovely to see all the children so enthusiastic! Had to stop myself getting too involved in the work set! Thank you for this session!”

A huge thank you to all the parents who attended—it was wonderful to see our history curriculum in action and share this learning experience with you! 👏📚
