Today we celebrated St George’s Day as a whole school liturgy assembly. We first began with the Gospel of Luke and the Road to Emmaus, which shared the message of emotions going from sad to glad and remaining hopeful and keeping the faith at all times. This message was perfect to introduce the story of St George and how he kept his faith when defeating the dragon and showed so much courage and bravery. To celebrate St George’s Day in school, the children dressed in the England flag colours- red and white and celebrated with a St George’s Day Lunch.
