Y1 and Y2 enjoyed a lovely day out at Twycross Zoo this week. Children were so excited exploring the zoo, watching animals in their habitats and loved learning new facts about them from the zoo keepers. We learnt about what they eat, how they live and what they look like. Children even had the opportunity to journey through the deep dark wood on The Gruffalo Trail. They loved interacting with the much-loved characters retelling the story from the book, the animations and the real-life animals such as owls, snakes and butterflies. They were really well behaved and had a great time. We can’t wait for our next trip!
