Parents and Friends Association (PFA)

The PFA is a group of parents, teachers and friends of the school working together to raise funds for the children.

This committee plays a key role in the life of the school because it helps to plan, organise and run fun events for the pupils that also make money that is spent directly on benefiting the children at our school .

What do we do?

We hold various events throughout the year, eg. raffles and fetes bringing together the school community. Money raised from such events is used for the benefit of the children in our school.

Recent items purchased from PFA funds include a new interactive white board for our Nursery Class and the painting of murals in the KS1 and KS2 corridors.

Funds raised by PFA are also used to buy the children's Christmas presents, Holy Communion and Confirmation gifts and to purchase small gifts for Easter, etc.

PFA Meetings

They take place in the school as and when necessary. Mrs Grubham organises meetings when required. If you are interested in helping out and attending meetings then please let the school office know.

We would also like to hear your views on the kinds of events that you would be interested in attending or events which you would be willing to help organise. Please contact Mrs Margaret Hackett for further information about forthcoming events and to offer your support.
