Special Event - Butterfly Tea Party

24 May 2011

This term Nursery and Reception have been learning about minibeasts. Each class has been looking after some tiny caterpillars which have turned into chrysalis's and soon butterflies will hatch out of our chrysalis's.

On Tuesday 24th of May parents came to watch Nursery and Reception children perform the song 'A Tiny Caterpillar'.

Lots of children had fun showing their parents the work they had been doing in class about minibeasts. Parents even got to see our chrysalis's and children explained to their parents the life cycle of a butterfly. After the performance we all enjoyed a butterfly tea cake and some squash.

A big thank you to all the parents who came!
